Brick Infill for a Former Door Opening – Ottawa
A former exterior door opening was rebuilt with tied-in brick masonry, a weather-resistant barrier and units selected to blend with the existing wall.

Closing a former opening while preserving the existing brick pattern
This Ottawa masonry renovation converted a former exterior doorway into a continuous brick wall. The work was planned around the existing bond, colour variation and surrounding wall details.
The edges of the existing masonry were prepared so the new courses could interlock with the wall instead of reading as a separate surface patch.
A weather-resistant barrier was installed behind the infill before the opening was rebuilt in brick from the bottom upward.
