1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small data files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, scripts, pixels, server logs and requests to third-party resources. They can operate the site, remember choices, protect forms, deliver content or measure aggregate use. Some third-party resources may receive standard technical information, such as an IP address, browser, requested page and time, even if they do not place a cookie.

We do not currently configure advertising or behavioural-marketing cookies. Our audit did not identify embedded Google Maps, YouTube, Instagram content or Google reCAPTCHA on the site. If our technologies change, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
3. Essential versus optional technologies
Essential technologies are used to display and secure the website, operate the quote form and remember your consent choices. They cannot all be disabled through the banner because the site or consent system would not function correctly. Statistics technologies are optional and remain blocked until you accept the statistics category.
4. Your choices
You can accept, deny or adjust optional categories in the consent banner. Refusing statistics does not prevent you from viewing the site or requesting a quote. To change a previous choice, use the “Privacy choices / Choix de confidentialité” button displayed on the site, then save the new selection.
You may also delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so can remove your saved consent choice, causing the banner to appear again.
5. Third-party processing and location
Google, Automattic and other technology providers may process technical information outside Quebec or Canada, including in the United States or other jurisdictions where they or their service providers operate. Information processed elsewhere may be subject to the laws and lawful-access rules of that jurisdiction.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Our Complianz configuration is set to respect supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control browser signals. You can still use the website’s privacy control to review or change your selection.
7. Changes
We may update this policy when the site, providers, cookie lifetimes or legal requirements change. The current version and date will remain available on this page.
