Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Contact information: full name, email address and telephone number.
• Project information: project address, project type, preferred timeline, description of the requested masonry work, approximate dimensions, materials, site conditions and other details you choose to provide.
• Files: photographs, drawings, plans and other project documents uploaded through our form or sent by email.
• Communications and business records: emails, call notes, quote information, contracts, invoices, scheduling, service and warranty records when applicable.
• Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referral source, date and time, language, approximate location derived from IP address, security logs and consent preferences.
• Optional analytics information: website-use events and cookie identifiers collected by Google Analytics or Jetpack Stats only when the applicable consent is provided.

Please do not send payment-card numbers, government identification, health information or other sensitive information through the public quote form.

3. How do we collect it?

We collect information directly from you through our website form, email, telephone and project communications. Some technical information is collected automatically through essential website operations, server logs, cookies and similar technologies. Optional statistics technologies are activated only according to your consent choices.

A website-form submission is stored in our WordPress/Elementor system and emailed to our business inbox. The notification can include the submitted fields and files together with the page address, submission date and time, browser or user-agent information and source IP address.

4. Why do we use it?

We use personal information only for legitimate and identified purposes, including to:

• receive and respond to your inquiry;
• confirm our service area and assess the requested renovation or masonry project;
• review plans, photographs, access conditions, materials, scope and timing;
• prepare or revise a quote and communicate about scheduling or project requirements;
• perform and administer a contract, project, warranty or customer relationship;
• maintain accounting, tax, insurance, legal and business records;
• operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve our website;
• measure aggregate website use when you consent to statistics; and
• meet legal obligations, prevent misuse and establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not currently use the website for targeted advertising or automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Consent and your choices

By providing information for a quote or project, you authorize us to use it for the purposes explained at the time of collection and in this policy. You may refuse optional analytics without losing access to the website or the ability to request a quote. You can change your cookie choices at any time using the “Privacy choices / Choix de confidentialité” control displayed on the website.

You may withdraw consent to an optional use or disclosure by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed and may be limited where information is needed to provide requested services, complete a contract, retain required records or comply with law.

6. Who may receive or access information?

Access within OMC is limited to authorized people who need the information for their work. We may also use service providers or disclose information when reasonably necessary, including:

• website, hosting, security, email and information-technology providers;
• WordPress and Elementor tools operating on our hosting environment, including storage of form submissions;
• Complianz for consent management;
• Automattic/Jetpack for website statistics and image-delivery services;
• Google Analytics and Google Fonts when the applicable consent is provided;
• accounting, insurance, legal and other professional advisers;
• subcontractors, suppliers or project partners when necessary for an authorized quote or project; and
• public authorities, courts or other parties when required or permitted by law.

Providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their role and are expected to protect it under applicable obligations.

7. Processing outside Quebec or Canada

Some service providers may process or store information outside Quebec or Canada, including in the United States or other jurisdictions where they or their service providers operate. This can include website hosting, email, analytics, content delivery and support services. Information processed elsewhere may be subject to the laws and lawful-access rules of that jurisdiction.

8. How long do we keep information?

• Quote requests that do not become a project: normally up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, then securely deleted unless a longer period is reasonably required for a dispute, legal obligation or documented business need.
• Customer and project records: for as long as needed to perform the work and meet contractual, warranty, accounting, tax, insurance and legal obligations.
• Analytics, consent and security records: according to the applicable tool settings, security needs and legal requirements.
• Backups: residual copies may remain temporarily until the applicable backup cycle expires.

When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete it securely or irreversibly anonymize it where permitted and appropriate.

9. How do we protect information?

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. These include encrypted HTTPS transmission, authenticated administrative access, access restrictions, software maintenance and security controls provided by our technology suppliers. No method of Internet transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. Cookies and third-party technologies

Our site uses essential technologies required to operate the website and remember consent choices. With your permission, it may also use Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats to understand aggregate website use. External font and image-delivery services may receive ordinary technical request information such as an IP address and browser details. Please read our Cookie Policy for details.

11. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to:

• know whether we hold personal information about you and obtain access to it;
• correct incomplete or inaccurate information;
• receive eligible computerized information in a structured and commonly used technological format where the Quebec portability right applies;

• request deletion or cessation of use where applicable; and
• ask questions or make a complaint about our privacy practices.

We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, where applicable, the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

12. Children

Our services are intended for adults seeking or managing masonry work. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the quote form.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices, suppliers or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted on this page with its updated date. We will provide an appropriate notice if a change materially affects how personal information is handled.
