This downtown Ottawa project focused on the lower exterior masonry of a century brick building affected by graffiti and localized deterioration. Ottawa Masonry documented the wall condition, opened the affected sections and rebuilt the masonry in a controlled sequence.
The work combined graffiti removal with brick and substrate repairs so the exterior could be renewed as one coordinated restoration. The final documented elevation presents a cleaner, more consistent brick surface while retaining the character of the older building.
