Brick veneer and architectural masonry for a compact urban infill
Ottawa Masonry Contracting Inc. performed exterior masonry work on a multi-residential infill building in Vanier, Ottawa.
The project combined a red and brown brick blend with pale architectural masonry units around the glazed lower facade. The official album documents material staging, coursing around repeated window openings, mortar-joint details and the progression of the front elevation.
Work continued through snow and cold-weather conditions with full-height scaffolding, temporary enclosure and access equipment. The available photographs document construction in progress; they do not show a post-demobilization finished building.

Consistent courses, returns and mortar joints were maintained around the repeated window openings across the upper elevation.
Winter Protection and Access
Scaffolding, temporary enclosure and lift access supported masonry work through active winter site conditions.
