Winter brick installation on a residential extension
Ottawa Masonry Contracting Inc. installed Heritage Dark Brown brick on a residential extension in Russell during winter conditions. The supplied photographs document the protected work area, prepared wall and foundation surfaces, progressive brick courses and the latest visible masonry stage.
The archive does not show the completed upper façade, final trim or cleaned site. This project is therefore presented as masonry installation progress rather than a finished extension.
The Masonry Work
Protection, wall preparation and progressive brickwork
The extension was visibly protected for winter work before brick was installed around corners, wall returns and a new doorway. The masonry was coordinated with the adjacent existing brickwork.
Winter protection
Protective sheeting and organized material staging supported work around snow and cold-weather site conditions.
Prepared wall surfaces
Foundation and wall areas were prepared before the lower brick courses were installed.
Heritage Dark Brown brick
Progressive courses formed the new exterior corners and doorway returns documented in the supplied images.
